WORSHIP SUPPORT
Every church deserves the opportunity to experience vibrant, Spirit-filled worship. We are committed to supporting churches across our community by offering worship teams and leaders who can visit, encourage local musicians and worship leaders, and provide live worship in settings where it may be difficult to facilitate regularly.
Whether you are looking for practical support, fresh encouragement, or help leading worship at a special service or event, we would love to serve you. Please get in touch to learn more about how we can support your church.

PRAYER FOR YOUR AREA
One of the big areas that people have expressed an interest in is having people come to their church/area to prayer walk, seek the Lord and prophesy life. We are in the process of gathering together a team of people who are passionate and experienced in this area and we want to come and visit you! Please get in touch if you would like this.

LOVE ESSEX
What a wonderful day Love Essex Southend '26 proved to be! Christians from across Southend and beyond gathered in the heart of the city to worship God, celebrate what He is doing and share the good news of Jesus.
The Bishop of Bradwell brought an inspiring message, while the brilliant TE Band led us in worship. We also heard powerful testimonies from people across Essex, together with contributions from local church leaders. It was especially encouraging to welcome churches attending for the first time, including Revival House Southend and Heavenly Feast.
The day concluded with a compelling evangelistic appeal from Anthony Blackman - and we are delighted to report that several people made commitments to follow Jesus.
We have already heard remarkable testimonies of healing, including that of a blind woman whose eyesight improved significantly on the day. Many more stories are still being gathered, and powerful testimonies were also shared from the stage - including by a team who travelled from Estonia especially to support the event.
We are also celebrating several people who gave their lives to Jesus. Two of these commitments were made during prayer walks on the evening before the event.
For five months, dedicated teams prayed and walked through Southend in preparation. We want to honour everyone who organised, led and joined those prayer walks. Your faithful prayers helped prepare the way for an extraordinary day.
It was fantastic to see so many churches and Christian organisations represented. We welcomed new stallholders this year: SVP, CAP, Prophets Rising, Aspirations
They joined organisations and ministries that have been part of the Love Essex events in Southend: Good News for Everyone, the Christian Motorcyclists Association, Street Pastors, and Leigh Elim (who led the children's tent). Visitors also enjoyed Spirit-inspired artwork and a vibrant graffiti wall created by the talented City Jam organiser Karl Sims.
A huge thank you goes to Paul and the TE Band, who were brilliant as always, and to Dan and the PA team, who ensured everyone sounded their best. We are deeply grateful to every person who prayed, planned, served, led, performed, exhibited or supported the event. Your time, prayers and commitment made the day possible. This event was in part made possible due to local churches supporting the event as well as some individual donors. We also had this year two grants to help support the event this year generously given by the Souter Charitable Trust and Shared Space.
Love Essex will soon be supporting Churches Together at two more events, and we would love you to be part of the team:
• Clacton: Saturday 31 October 2026
• Wickford: Sunday 29 November 2026

MOVING ON
It was such a joy to celebrate Rob and Lissie Purnell last month as they step down after 28 years of leading New Life Church Crouch Valley. What a difference they have made to individuals, the church, the county and beyond and we honour them for their servant-hearted faithfulness. They are delighted to be handing the baton over to Tim and Jess Churchward - so let’s get behind these guys and they run with the vision God has given them.
